R E C E N T   R E L E A S E S

January 2, 2012 - The BMRB released as Special Report, BPS and BTU Far Apart on Salary Plans, which reveals that a key reason that the Boston Public Schools (BPS) and the Boston Teachers Union (BTU) have not reached final agreement on a new contract is that the full BTU salary plan over four years is $83.5 million greater than the BPS proposal over the same period, $116.1 million v. $32.6 million.  What should not be lost in the financial discussion of the contract is what is at stake for the students and parents in the final outcome of these negotiations.  read more>
