Now is not the time to increase pension liability
The Research Bureau opposes the City increasing the COLA base for retirees and beneficiaries of
the Boston Retirement System. In testimony before the Boston City Council’s Committee on Government Operations, the BMRB noted that increasing the liability moves the City in the wrong direction.
