Seat Open on the Boston School Committee

Qualified Candidates Needed:  Deadline January 29^, 2021 at noon

Bostonians have the chance to become civically engaged on behalf of Boston Public Schools students.  The Citizens Nominating Panel is now accepting applications to fill a one-year vacancy on the School Committee due to a resignation.  This term will end on January 3, 2022.

Mayor Walsh’s original appointee to fill the remainder of the term of Michael Loconto has resigned due to a conflict of interest, making it necessary to start a new process.  Both new and previous applicants are encouraged to apply. The deadline for submitting applications to serve on the School Committee is 12:00 pm on Friday, January 29th, 2021.
