Opportunity to Serve on the Boston School Committee

Qualified Candidates Needed: Deadline November 7th

Two full-term seats are available as both Dr. Stephen Alkins’ and Brandon Cardet-Hernandez’s terms expire at the end of this year. Additionally, because current School Committee Vice-Chair Michael O’Neill will be stepping down at the end of December to serve as the executive director of the Boston Private Industry Council, applications are being sought for the remainder of his term, which expires on January 2nd, 2029. Mr. O’Neill has served on the committee since first appointed by Mayor Menino in 2008 and was Chair from 2013 to 2017.
